FASTENER QUALITY ACT COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
HTI certifies that any and all covered fasteners within PL101-592 as amended by
PL2104-113, PL105-234, PL106-34 as provided by HTI will be in compliance with
the Act in any one of the following ways:

Products were manufactured in accordance with a fastener quality assurance
system therefore exempting these products from the Act.

Products were not manufactured in accordance with a fastener quality assurance
system and were manufactured after December 6, 1999. For these products
manufacturer's insignia has been registered, a record of conformance is
available and on record with HTI for five (5) years.

Products were manufactured prior to December 6, 1999 therefore exempting these
products from the Act.
A covered fastener is defined as:
"a metallic screw, nut, bolt, or stud having internal or external threads, with
a nominal diameter of 6 millimeters or greater, the case of such items
described in metric terms, or 1/4 inch greater, in the case of such items
described in terms of the English system of measurement, or a load-indicating
washer, that is through-hardened or represented as meeting a consensus standard
that calls for through-hardening, and that is grade identification marked or
represented as meeting a consensus standard that requires grade identification
marking."
